Thank you for your interest in volunteering for canfitpro 2021 online events.

VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Attend a 1hr online training session to familiarize yourself with zoom, learn the event process and ask questions

  • Be present and available for all approved registered shifts

  • If you are scheduled to host or moderate a session on Zoom your duties may include introducing the presenter, managing session participation and engagement, assisting with the chat box and minor technical support

  • Additional duties as required

We are looking for volunteers to help facilitate canfitpro 2021 Online.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

  • Friendly, enthusiastic and able to take initiative

  • Able to fulfill minimum shift requirements

  • Strong team player who can also work with minimal supervision

  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age

  • Work the entire duration of each shift assigned

  • Read and understand your Job description, volunteer manual and all email communication

CANFITPRO MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The complimentary membership will be applied post conference, and your membership will be validated for an additional year. Memberships EXPIRING BEFORE the conference must pay to renew their membership.

The purpose of the AODA - Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act training is to develop, implement and enforce standards for accessibility related to goods, services, facilities, employment, accommodation and buildings. Before proceeding to the online application, please click on the following link to access the training: http://accessforward.ca/customerService/ You will need approximately 20 minutes to complete the Ontarians with Disability Act training. There is a short quiz on this material as part of the application process. Please ensure that you give yourself enough time for successful completion of the application process. You are required to complete all parts of the application process in order to move onto the application approval process.
